Yipee!
Yesterday's surprise party was extremely successful.!
My dad got a big big shocking surprise.
Uncle Dino was standing at the balcony as the spy.
We were all so excited for his return that we stopped everything we were doing and waited outside the lift.
When he saw Dad coming home,
He quickly told all of us.
All of us quickly got to our places.
I stood right in front.
When he came back, we pulled all the poppers and screamed HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
You guys should have seen his face.
He was so stun that he didn't know what to do.
He had a super big shock that he took the lift to the 7th floor before coming down to the 6th floor again.
We pulled a total of 72 poppers.
I was partially deaf after all the poppers were pulled.
We all queued up to wish him Happy Birthday.
He was so happy that he was smiling widely all the way thru the night.
He kept saying that he never had such a big birthday celebration and a surprise one some more.
We had abt 50-60 guests.
We had 3 generations there.
My parent's generation,
My generation and My nephews and nieces.
The food was more than enough even though we ordered for 40 ppl.
I was feeling quite bored cause I don't really mix around and most of them were playing mahjong.
One of my nephew, Daniel,
He was playing so violently with my cousin that his nose bled twice.
Haha!
Even when his nose was bleeding,
He still wanted to play.
Everyone was laughing at how mischievous he was.
I was in my room quite often with my nephew and niece.
We cut the cake but I didn't eat cause it's mango.
I went back to my room again.
Then later mum cleaned up my room while I went to bathe.
Mum didn't let me clean the room cause I was very tired already.
I was falling asleep while waiting for all the guest to leave.
All the guest left at about 12plus.
I still enjoyed the party!

I know my dad won't be seeing this but..
Happy 50th Birthday Dad!

A few days ago,
I finished work late and Dad also work OT,
He came to fetch me from the MRT station.
When we got home,
we bathe then ate dinner and watch tv together.
Younger sis, Alina, was lying on the sofa watching tv with us.
We were eating bee hoon and eggs.
He suddenly asked me what time I working on Sunday.
Then I forgot that Sunday was supposed to be his Birthday lunch cause we didn't book the tables at Pan Pacific as we had prepared a surprise Birthday Dinner for him tonight.
Alina was giving me that look then I quickly say "Orh, I can take off."
Haha!
Alina was staring at me with the "what u trying to do?!"
Then I asked dad,
How old are you?
He said "48"
Alina and me "HUH?!" very loudly.
Then he added "but once I eat these 2 eggs then will be 50."
Then i said "Excuse me, u are turning 50 this week!"
"Mum's 48 and you are 50!"
Then dad just give the silly laugh.
Haha!

We all are getting ready for the surprise B'day party later.
My dad's family will be over by 4pm.
Then my mum's side cousin will be 5plus-6.
The buffet coming in at 5.30pm.
Maybe my Aus cousin whose back in Singapore will be coming by as well.
We are just hoping that dad won't come back before 6pm.
If not we cant give him a big surprise.
We are intending to sit outside then when he comes home everyone will shout then he will be shocked.
Haha!
He'll be very happy.
He hadn't had his own family members celebrating his B'day with him for a long time already.
What's more it's his 50th.
But if he comes home early then he'll know the whole plan.
Decorations will be up later.
I'm in charge of the heavy stuff that we gotta buy later.
Hope it doesn't rain if not can't carry that many items.
My Mum, in charge of the arrangement of items and taking out all the chairs and paper plates.
My elder sis, Amanda, in charge of inviting people and buying of decorations.
My Aunt, Angie, whose staying with us is in charge of arranging the buffet.
My uncle, Dino, also staying with us, in charge of fetching my 1st Aunt and family up.
Alina is the lazy one.
She wouldn't be doing anything cause she's just too skinny and lazy to help.

I got to go and help put up the decorations already.

Work during weekdays is kind of boring.
Very little ppl so time passes very slowly.
I got to go and find things to do if not I will stand there like a blockhead.
Today I reached there super early.
So I decided to go and count the pants and do stock taking.
Then I went to dig out all the sizes that were gone.
I realised Singaporeans are quite fat.
The 34 onwards alot missing.
Hahaha!
After that we just stand around.
We've learnt to talk smart.
Hahah!
We stand at our own bin and talk loudly.
Haha!
She can't scold us this way cause we ain't grouping and she doesn't have any prove that we are talking to each other.
I went for late lunch at 4.30 with Cody and Khairunisa.
They brought me to a place further from R.C but the food there nicer and very much cheaper.
The portion also bigger.
After returning from lunch,
Time passed extremely fast and I left at 6.50pm.

May 2007 be a blessing and be smooth for all of us.

I've been working for the past few days.
During work,
We get to meet very weird people.
That's when you will realise that there are many different types of people in the world.

I didn't go countdown this year cause I was working and abit no company.
So I called Yvonne, Koh Sing, Meli and Joanne over to my house for "countdown".
They were really great company to me.
We countdown by eating chocolate fondue.
Meli and Joanne were the ones who prepared it.
I supplied the location.
Yvonne and KS supplied Soya Bean.
Hahah!!
I just love Soya Bean.
It's been ages since I drank it.
Anyway I kinda sent Yvonne and Koh Sing home.
It was kind of late so not very safe.
The fondue was nice but the fruits I think were the wrong type except for the strawberry.
But I still ate quite alot for I was hungry!
Hahaha!

So for the start of the year on 1st Jan 2007,
I realised that my job will have to contribute to CPF.
I was kinda off by that.
My pay is already low,
If minus for CPF I will only take home 600+??
So I went to ask all the promoters around me.
Got 1 company they offering $5 per hour on weekdays and $6 per hour on weekends.
They don't have to minus for CPF and I heard that they are also paid during their 1 hour break.
That's like alot better than mine now.
So I got the number and I have called up.
I got an interview this Friday.
Tomorrow I'm gonna ask my boss if really need to contribute to CPF and if I wanna quit how long's the notice and of course if they are gonna pay me for the past few days work.
Whatever it is,
I will hop over if they want and can wait for me.

Tml will be the first day of work at Robinsons.
I will be working in the same company as Joanne but different place.
She's at Centrepoint while I'm at Raffles City.
Hahaha!!
But I think we can still go to work together if the timing fits?
So today I went to terminate my job at that restaurant.
They want me to give 2 weeks notice and according to the law, as a temp, I only need to give less than 24 hours of notice.
What's more is they don't wanna pay me my pay.
It's like wth, a big company don't wanna pay me?!
Less than 80 bucks is peanuts to them,
Y can't they just pay me?
Whatever it is,
It's over and I'm going to work somewhere else.
Hopefully first day of work tml will be ok.

Today I was supposed to go out in the afternoon but it got cancelled.
So I spent the whole afternoon at home watching VCDs.
The show's quite interesting.
But still short of a person.
If only every VCD that I watch,
You are by my side,
It would be just so amazing and enjoyable.

Tml I will be working from 11am-6pm.
I'm gonna go for another job training then I'll hop over once they confirm hire me.
Now the pay I'm getting is really little and the working hours so unstable.
I got so much free time and it ain't good.
The new job is offering $5.20 and I can choose when I want to work and for how long.
I'm gonna work from Mondays to Friday for 8 hours minimum each day.
Then Sat I will work from 11am-2pm.
Sun I don't think I will work cause I need to rest.
So hopefully I get through the training and get the job.

1 month has passed and many things have happened.
Many went their own ways.
It's the end of a phrase of our education but a new beginning for all of us.

Yesterday's work was quite fun.
I started off cutting beef and packing them.
After 30mins break,
I cut salmon.
After that,
I learned cooking skills,tempura.
It was fun.
I did it for like 1 hour and my chef in charge for the day,Kenny, wanted me to experiment it myself.
After doing it once or twice,
I got the skills.
He said it looks nice and I did it well.
Feels good to be praised.
I had to put my finger into a pot of hot oil to separate the sauce and I got my finger burnt.
It wasn't serious just that I could feel the heat and pain going through.
After that I learnt how to cook Unagi and Soba.
I learnt how to decorate the dishes.
Kenny asked me why I want to work in the kitchen.
I told him that I don't know how to cook so I want to learn.
At 7 plus,
There wasn't much orders and we thought that we could clear up early.
At 8 plus,
The orders came in faster than the water flowed from the tap.
We were in a mess.
The floor became so oily that I almost fell.
If I fell,
I would have been in a pot of oil.
Kenny got a shocked.
Hahaha!
But it was good experience as I learnt to be fast and careful at the same time.
After that at 9pm we started to clear up.
I washed the dishes while Kenny cleaned the equipment.
At 10pm,
Kenny and the head chef, Kelvin, started washing the floor.
I was supposed to help but they told me to go home.
They treat me really good.
Kelvin was afraid that I fell cause my shoes can make me fall and that I would get burnt by oil.
Kenny on the other hand was afraid that the hot food would be too hot for me to hold so he didn't want me to decorate those food that just came out from the oil.

Tml I will be working again.
I want to learn something new.
Maybe cooking U-don?

Missing you so much that I dream of you every night.
