Band wasnt in the usual state today
Guess it's expected
For a moment we were all worrying the Mr Kel wasnt gonna come
Luckily the next moment he came and we just finished signing the card
Not everybody signed the card
Mr Kel was wearing dark colours today from head to toe
Anyone could sense that he's really sad
Nobody had mood for band
Some cried and many others held on to their tears
I tried to console those ppl
I sort of managed to make them stop crying
Hope I realy did help them
I know that it wouldnt last long but at least at that moment
Could tell that everyone didnt feel like doing sectionals
The teacher(s) are just cold blooded
Spare no thoughts for us
Since there were no teachers there
I left it to them to decide whether they wanna continue doing sectionals or just sit there
But everybody no mood
I did something really wrong this time
I shouldnt have invited Mr Kel to PRCS to be conductor in the first place

Went to grandma's house today
Saw esther again as usual

Sunday still see her whenever i go to grandma's house
She just asked me couple of physics tys qns then she went back le
And I went back to eat my laksa
(My cousins)Derek, Valerie, Belinda and I decided to go to the shopping centre near grandma's house
The shopping centre has got nothing except a cinema, Sportslink, NTUC and some shops
So we decided to go to Suntec
Everyone except derek was wearing shorts, t-shirt and slippers
I called my dad to come and fetch us there
My dad's real funny
Cause my cousins never sat the car before
Then they were saying about the interior and the comfortable seats
My dad disturb them that it's a spaceship
Then the car got a button to a box
My cousin asked and my dad said it was for us to release our seats in emergencies
I didnt know that my dad was so witty and funny
Then he drove us there and we went to shop on our own
Derek couldnt find the shoes he wanted
The sizes were all gone
Then he treated us to Marche
But we only ate desert
Cause dinner was waiting for us at grandma's house
After that we wanted to get a cab home
So we decided to walk to the main road outside
But who knows we continued walking till we reached the start of the highway
Then we decided to walk to the main gate of "The Gateway"
Continued walking till Raffles Hospital
We got on a cab as soon as we got there
The cabby was funny la
He was like wah ur walk from Suntec till here already half the journey back to Whampoa might as well continue to walk there
Haha
The On family being crazy people of course didnt mind him saying that
We all know that he was joking
Where got cabby got job to do still complain
He's quite a kind person
He supposed to change shift already but then since Whampoa was quite near he didnt mind fetching us there
Reached grandma's house and saw the usual sight
The guys were playing "chap sa ki"
And the ladies were playing mahjong
So the kids just did their own stuff
Grandma cooked mee sua for dinner
The guys went to buy durian but I didnt eat
I was only interested in sleeping
So I sat on the chair and leaned against the wall and fell asleep
Slept for quite a while
Went home after that

Human are weird creatures
Sometimes we know what will take place due to an action
but we still carry on with that action
We know that there will be awkwardness
but we still do it
We could have just simply avoid it
and make things better
Why didnt I do it
I thought of it before
but in the end I didnt do it
It might seem like it doesnt matter to me
but it actually does
Even before the moment I stepped out of the house
I was still hesitating
Shall stop here
Since it has taken place
Time wont turn back and let me change my decision
Not many ppl turned up for band again
It's kinda demoralising
It's not the way to do things
I dont know if it's the attendance or is it some other reasons
But I think Im beginning to dread coming for band prac
Maybe the passion has died
It's just not the place Im supposed to be in
But since Im in it
I dont have a choice
I will do all I can to keep it going until the day I step down officially
I guess I will wash my hands off entirely when I step down

valentine's day today
but im alone
with only a can of beer and my books
how many years have i been passing valentine's day alone
i guess from the day i was born till now
i wonder when will i ever be not spending valentine's day alone
maybe next year maybe never
hopefully is next year
i can have the first valentine's day dinner with you next year
happy valentine's day
i nv spend much time with you today
but at least you are still there
i will love you now and forever
i will always be there to listen to you and support you
